Creating an account and browsing tutors is free. You only spend coins to unlock contacts or apply to leads, and new students get 150 free coins.
What are coins?
Coins are TutorBee's access currency. Students spend coins to view a tutor's contact details; tutors spend coins to contact students who post requests. Coins never expire.
How much does it cost to contact a tutor?
Students spend 50 coins to unlock a tutor's phone and email. After that you can message them freely.
How does tutor lead pricing work?
A lead's coin cost rises with competition. If fewer than 3 tutors apply within 36 hours, the lead becomes free to contact.
How do I pay my tutor?
You arrange fees and payment directly with your tutor. TutorBee only sells coins; we don't take a cut of lesson fees.
How do I get verified as a tutor?
Upload a national ID or passport from your profile page. Our team reviews it and awards a verified badge.
Can I be both a student and a tutor?
Yes. Choose your role during sign-up, and you can enable tutoring later from your profile.
